STORY: Meli’s recipe comes from a long-loved family recipe and Meli’s was created by the two Melissa’s, childhood best friends. Our “aha” moment was triggered when a close family member developed a gluten intolerance, and we realized the recipe had no gluten. Realizing this and knowing how awesome they were, was the catalyst to share Meli’s Monster Cookies with you.

Instructions: Chocolate Chip: 4 simple steps; 7-9 minutes; 16 cookies. You will need: Nut butter 1/2 cup; 1 egg; salted butter 4 tbsp (softened). Instructions: 1. Fire up the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or paper line a baking sheet. 2. Mix the egg, butter, and nut butter. Next, add Meli’s cookie mix and stir into a dough. Baking Tip: You can always add a little extra nut butter if needed to make the dough more gooey! 3. Roll up 2 inches cookie mounds, and arrange them about 1-2 inches apart on the sheet. This will make about 16 cookies. (Although the dough is scrumptious, we cannot recommend eating raw dough!). 4. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until the edges set. Boom! You just made delicious Meli’s cookies. Try to let ’em cool before you dive in! Store in freezer for maximum freshness!
